Frost is proudly a family-owned and operated Canadian business

Frost is proudly a family-owned and operated Canadian business manufacturing out of Ontario since 1961. The recent executive orders by President Trump directing the United States to impose new tariffs on imports from Canada affects all Canadians and Americans.  Please be advised, if you are purchasing our products and importing them into the United States you may be required to pay tariffs upon the product’s arrival. Frost has no control on what products (if any) are selected for tariffs or the amount imposed on them. All tariff fees are the responsibility of the importer.

Now is a good time for Canadians to support Canadian businesses; and we are grateful for the support you have shown us over the last 60+ years. This trade war offers an opportunity for Canadians to buy Canadian, support local jobs, and strengthen our future.

Why buy Canadian? There are many economic benefits of buying Canadian. Tariffs have made imported goods more expensive. By choosing Canadian-made products, consumers help protect local jobs and contribute to the Canadian economy.

Next, there are many ethical and social benefits of buying Canadian. Canadian manufacturers are at the forefront of eco-friendly practices, producing goods with a smaller carbon footprint and reducing the environmental impact of shipping goods internationally.

Finally, buying Canadian helps to build National pride and unity. Not only can buying Canadian help you avoid costly tariffs, it also helps Canadians come together in the face of uncertain economic challenges.

Added functionality for greater ease of use

We have updated our search functionality to make it easier for end users, distributors, and architects to find the products they are looking for. You can now search several competitor’s product numbers and our search will return Frost’s equivalent if available. Simply type the competing product code into our search bar located in the top right corner of the website; as indicated by the magnifying glass. You can also use our cross-reference guide located under “Resources”. These tools now make it quicker and easier to submit bids and find the products required for your project.
